About the work
My name is Noah-Merlin Cuda and I am 6 years old. My family and I moved from Malanda, Far North Queensland, to Brisbane because my Dad really needed a heart transplant.
The portrait I have done is of Dr Peter Tesar, a heart surgeon at The Prince Charles Hospital. My Mum and Dad told me that Dr Tesar has done over 10,000 heart operations in the past 30 years. Dr Tesar saved my Dad’s life and I think he is an inspiring heart surgeon.
A true hero and legend of Brisbane.
