Cheers to Women in Leadership by Katura Halleday

Monica is a successful business woman living in Brisbane and is involved in supporting the arts sector. We met through SheEo which is an organisation that believes in women supporting women through radical generosity. 

I admire her desire to promote female leadership through mentorship. Being a 15 year old entrepreneur and illustrator Monica helped me promote my book in Brisbane and the wider community. I love the energy she brings to her career, and I wanted to capture not only her professionalism but her love of life and her colourful personality.  

I choose pastel as a medium because is highlights the many layers that need to be present with female leaders, but also the underlying gentle and empathic nature female leaders bring.
