A Heart Full of Flowers by Zoey Chen

This self-portrait shows how I see myself. I wanted to use lots of bright colours and interesting shapes because they make me feel happy and remind me how much I enjoy making art. Instead of trying to make everything look exactly real, I used my imagination to create something that feels playful and full of energy.

I enjoyed experimenting with paint and coloured pencils to see what different colours, lines and shapes could do. Every part of the artwork became another way to express my personality and the things I love about creating.

Making this portrait helped me think about myself in a new way. I hope people who see it can feel the happiness, creativity and fun I felt while making it.
