About the artist
David Fenoglio is a Brisbane-based artist who works in representational drawing and oil painting. He primarily works from life, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the history of painting.
About the sitter
Circus visionary, Yaron Lifschitz is the Artistic Director of Brisbane based performing arts company, Circa – one of Australia’s greatest cultural exports. Fenoglio says of the work: “It was a true insight talking to Yaron about theatre, art and the creative process. I have painted Yaron in the Circa studio, where Circa shows are created, during his 20th year leading the company.”
