About the artwork and sitter
Grace Harris is a national cricket champion and member of the gold medal winning 2022 Commonwealth games Australian cricket team, the winning 2022 WODI World Cup squad and the successful 2023 Ashes squad.
She has represented Australia in both One Day cricket as well as in the T20 format, the Queensland Fire (WNCL), the Brisbane heat (WBBL) and the UP Warriorz (WPL).
Aside from being a ‘destructive middle order batter,’ Grace is also a larger than life character, rarely seen without a smile on her face.
‘With a quick wit and wicked sense of humour, Grace has no trouble getting a laugh and is a much loved member of any team she is part of.’

Will Turner is a self taught emerging artist, who was a 2022 Brisbane Portrait Prize finalist.
Outside of art, Will is passionate about cricket, and a proud member of the Western Suburbs District Cricket Club.
