Passion and Purpose by William Spalding

Tanya Neilsen has been a passionate arts advocate for over twenty years, particularly with student identities around harnessing their imagination and building their creative confidence. The growth of STEM education has captured the need for students to engage in learning contexts that are collaborative, dynamic, flexible and evolving. It is her hope that by engineering exciting learning pathways for students, they will not only extend their knowledge and skills, but also discover their own potential as a thinker, innovator and contributor to their own futures. As a student of Brisbane Grammar School and an aspiring artist, I have been inspired by Ms Neilsen’s passion for the arts and thrilled to have an opportunity to paint her portrait.
