My name is Dorothy. I am eleven (almost twelve) years old, and I live in Brisbane, Australia! Me and my family moved here from China when I was just three, so in all my memory, I have lived in Australia. My sister is five, and she was born in Brisbane, and has lived here all her life. When I first decided to compete in the Prize, I wanted to make a unique painting of my sister so we spent a while parading around our backyard experimenting with different poses! I wanted something less generic and normal, so after a while, I decided (or more accurately, she decided) that the best pose was her lying down, and we ended up with this!
