About the sitter
Marjorie Morton is a successful Brisbane businesswoman, who in recent years has worked exhaustively for Second Chance, a Brisbane charity which raises money, improves services and advocates for homeless women. Sheltering women and children from domestic violence, Second Chance is the only Australian Charity that fundraises exclusively for homeless women. Frame says of her work: “My portrait aims to celebrate Marjorie’s contribution to our community through capturing her humility and caring nature.”
